The May/June issue of the Illinois School Board Journal presents insights into current school safety and security issues, including cybersecurity and emergency plans for students and staff with access or functional needs.
The issue also completes the “ Crucial Characteristics of Leaders of Integrity” series with Part IV on taking action. The series, by Don Parker, Ed.D., started in the Journal’s Equity Issue in November/December of 2023.
Also in the Journal, expert commentary on the educator shortage offers updates and recommendations for prioritization for Illinois school districts.
