Illinois General Assembly Adjourns Spring Session

In the early morning hours of May 27, the Illinois House of Representatives adjourned after passing the Fiscal Year 2024 budget and put the final touches on the 2023 spring session. The Illinois General Assembly is not scheduled to be back at the Capitol until the two-week fall veto session during the weeks of October 24 and November 7. While the budget-making process receives the most attention at the end of session, several important bills passed in the final days of legislative action. If you have questions or concerns about any of the bills included in IASB reports, please feel free to contact the Governmental Relations department at govrel@iasb.com. Be sure to keep in touch with your Governmental Relations team throughout the summer by participating in advocacy activities and being involved with your locally elected officials.
