Joint Annual Conference

November 21-23, 2025

Conference Scholarships for Members

IASB understands that attending conferences can sometimes be financially challenging for school districts and offers the following scholarships to cover the Joint Annual Conference registration fee, a daily meal allotment, and expense reimbursement for transportation and incidentals. Districts will be responsible for costs associated with housing. The scholarship programs offer recipients the opportunity to enhance their professional growth and network with peers, colleagues, and other educational personnel at the premier training and networking event.

2025 Conference Scholarship for Board Members

The Joint Annual Conference Scholarship Program, now in its second year, supports IASB member school boards with professional development. Illinois school board members from districts that have not attended the Joint Annual Conference and who represent districts with financial need are encouraged to apply.

Each scholarship recipient will be assigned an IASB Director, who will serve as a mentor and guide to maximize the learning opportunities at the Joint Annual Conference.

The deadline to complete the online application is April 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing of the scholarship award by May 15.

Tasha Levy Memorial Scholarship

The 2025 Joint Annual Conference Tasha Levy Administrative Professionals Scholarship was created to honor the life and legacy of Tasha Levy, whose kindness, dedication, and warmth had a profound impact on her colleagues and the members she served at IASB.

The Tasha Levy Administrative Professionals Scholarship aims to support individuals who embody Tasha’s spirit of selflessness, community, and continuous learning. Applicants are encouraged to reflect on the values Tasha held dear — kindness, growth, and impacting the lives of others, and how they plan to carry those values forward in their work and communities.

The deadline to complete the online application is April 30. Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing of the scholarship award by May 15.
