Call to Action on HB 2784

The Illinois Association of School Boards issued a Call to Action to school board members to oppose HB 2784, heard March 8 before the House Labor & Commerce Committee. The bill would create a new minimum wage for school district employees who provide educational support services. Statewide FISCAL IMPACT would be nearly half a billion dollars in early estimates.
