Inside IASB is a podcast series from the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) that offers information and encouragement to Illinois school board members. Inside IASB has 20 episodes and more are being added.
The latest episode of the Inside IASB Podcast looks at how school board members assess their board meetings, member behavior, the districts’ vision and planning, and board/superintendent relations. In “What is the Board Evaluation Instrument?” listeners will hear from Blue Ridge CUSD 18 Board President Franci Miller, Superintendent Dr. Hillary Stanifer, and IASB Field Services Director Patrick Allen as they discuss the merits of applying this resourceful instrument each year.
