Delegate Assembly Registration Now Open

Registration for the 2024 IASB Delegate Assembly is now open. Each IASB member board of education can select one individual school board member to serve as its delegate. Only registered delegates can participate in the Delegate Assembly, which will take place Saturday, November 23 at 10:30 a.m. in Chicago, in conjunction with the Joint Annual Conference.
Online, pre-registration is highly encouraged. Only district roster managers can register delegates online. While pre-registration is recommended, onsite registration will also be available. Onsite registration, along with packet and credential pick-up, will take place at the IASB Info Center in the Hyatt Regency East Tower on Friday, November 22, and on Saturday before the Delegate Assembly in the Hyatt Regency West Tower.
The Delegate Assembly is the yearly meeting where IASB members vote on the proposals submitted by local school boards to direct the Association’s advocacy efforts and legislative agenda on behalf of IASB members.
IASB members will receive a Resolutions Committee Report in late September. The Report will provide an overview of all submitted resolutions and the Committee’s recommendations on each proposal. Every board of education is advised to review the proposed resolutions with the full board.
The IASB Governmental Relations team will also host a webinar in late October to go over the proposed resolutions and answer any Delegate Assembly questions.
