The IASB Office of General Counsel and Policy Services Department are informing IASB members of the following information relating to implementation of the new Title IX regulations.
The 2024 Title IX regulations, which are featured in PRESS and PRESS Plus Issue 116, are subject to ongoing federal litigation which may affect some schools within Illinois. The legal situation is fluid and evolving, and IASB is monitoring for impact on PRESS materials. Before adopting PRESS Plus Issue 116, boards should consult with their board attorneys for guidance on the impact of pending litigation and options regarding policy adoption and administrative procedure implementation.

IASB will provide an update on the pending litigation at the upcoming webinar, PRESS and PRESS Plus Issue 116: The Tortured Title IX Process Department, on Thursday, August 15 from Noon to 1 p.m.
