IASB Offers Candidate Information Series via Livestream

The Illinois Association of School Boards is presenting a series of livestream webinars designed for candidates for local school boards in the April 1, 2025 election.

The next event in the series will take place on December 5 at noon. How to Navigate Running for School Board: Understanding the Board Member's Role is designed to provide school board candidates with an overview of an elected school board member’s roles and responsibilities and an idea of what to expect if they are successful in the spring election.

This is Part 4 of IASB's How to Navigate Running for School Board series, which are available to the public as well as IASB members, so all potential school board candidates can participate.

Also available for viewing are the three previous webinars in the series. Note that the filing period for the April 1, 2025 election was November 12-18.
