Training, Networking Opportunities Available for Administrative Professionals at Conference

Administrative professionals and those who perform the duties of the school board secretary can take advantage of targeted professional development at the 2024 Joint Annual Conference.
Registration for Conference includes the two-day Administrative Professionals’ Program at no additional cost. The training will feature a keynote speaker, breakout panels, networking opportunities, and the chance to schedule a one-on-one appointment with an IASB policy consultant.
The program will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday with a welcome session and the presentation of the Holly Jack Outstanding Service Award. Dan Meers, Kansas City Chiefs Mascot and motivational speaker, will keynote the opening session. Panel sessions on topics ranging from AI, collaborative leadership, and transparency to the Illinois Records Act, FOIA, and OMA are on the agenda, as well as a Roundtable Networking Event on Saturday morning.
Registration for the Annual Conference remains open at early-bird rates until October 15. The Administrative Professionals’ Program will be offered all day on Friday and Saturday, November 22-23, at the Swissötel in Chicago.
