Registration for the 2024 Joint Annual Conference is now open!
The event will take place November 22-24 in downtown Chicago, with pre-conference activities beginning on November 21.
The IASB•IASA•IASBO Joint Annual Conference is the must-attend training and networking event for school board members, superintendents, and school business officials, offering a variety of opportunities for focused learning to support public education leaders’ professional and personal development. School leaders with hear from experts on critical topics such as school finance, community engagement, educational equity and advocacy, safety and security, collective bargaining, and more.
Early-bird registration rates are $520 per Conference attendee, plus a $200 deposit per guestroom if housing is requested. IASB has reserved a limited block of rooms at eight hotels available only to registered attendees. Hotels will not be assigned until registration fees and the lodging deposit are paid in full. To assist with the Conference registration, instructions have been created for district roster managers and administrators who will be able to register individuals or a group online.
School leaders will have opportunities to register for additional learning, networking, and professional development via Conference Additional Registration Events. On Thursday, November 21, Equity Immersion (additional fee) will provide a day of learning and inspiration that will include speakers, vendors, equity engagement activities, table discussions, and more. Friday Focus Workshops (additional fee) will kick off on November 22, the first day of Conference, and offer targeted training for school board members in full- and half-day (both morning and afternoon) sessions. The Administrative Professionals’ Program will be held on Friday and Saturday and feature training designed to enhance the skills of the individual(s) who perform the duties of the school board secretary and/or district administrative assistant.
