June 26 is the Deadline for IASB Member Districts to Submit Resolutions 

IASB member boards of education have until June 26 to submit resolutions for consideration by the 2024 IASB Delegate Assembly. Resolution forms and accompanying information are available on the IASB website. 

The IASB Resolutions Committee, consisting of one elected member from each of the 21 Association divisions, will meet in August to review resolution proposals. After the Committee makes recommendations for each proposed resolution, a Resolutions Committee Report will be sent to IASB member boards in September. This report includes all submitted resolutions, the district’s rationale, and the Committee’s recommendation for each proposal. 

The Delegate Assembly will be held November 23 at the Joint Annual Conference in Chicago. The outcomes of the Delegate Assembly determine the direction of the Association’s advocacy efforts and legislative priorities. Each IASB member school board is entitled to one voting delegate at the Assembly.
