Two Spotlight Sessions will feature presentations on Artificial Intelligence at the 2024 Joint Annual Conference, November 22-24 in Chicago.
On Friday, November 22, Bruce MacMillan, founder of Bandwidth Management, will present “AI Overview: Transforming Education and Work” at 2 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency-East. Attendees will “discover what Artificial Intelligence is and isn’t, why it matters, and how an AI-augmented education system will change the way you work” during the panel.
MacMillan will also present “AI and Education: Navigating the Legal Landscape” on Saturday, November 23, from 3-4 p.m. The session will “explore student data privacy, intellectual property, and ethical AI use” and “discuss FERPA and ESSA, equitable access to tools, and legal aspects of AI in assessment.”
