IARSS Annual Teacher Shortage Survey Open Through November 1

The Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS) has opened its Teacher Shortage Survey. This survey of school districts informs the annual Illinois Educator Shortage Report produced by IARSS.
IARSS has surveyed school districts on the topic of the educator shortage each year since 2015 and has developed the report and a dashboard from the given data. The survey is available from October 1 to November 1, 2024. The survey questions encompass three general themes:
The 2023-2024 Illinois Educator Shortage Report, and reports from prior years, are available on the IARSS website.
IARSS has sent an email to all districts encouraging them to fill out the survey, and the link is available to districts through Goshen Education Consulting.
IASB encourages its member boards of education to further encourage the district to participate in this important, ongoing, data collection.
