The May/June issue of the Illinois School Board Journal welcomes new school board members to the fold, and shares useful information as they set out on a journey of service.
The Illinois Association of School Boards offers the May/June issue of the Illinois School Board Journal as one of the many ways your Association can help new board members begin to understand the roles and responsibilities, develop leadership talents into board work skills and abilities, and advocate for public education.
We’ve posted this Journal early, so the newly-elected can get a head start. Members in the IASB database as of April 15 will receive a printed copy in the postal mail around May 1. Everyone can read it online starting at the IASB Journal webpage and/or on the new flipbook page at May/June IASB Journal for New Board Members.
