Public Schools Week, organized by Learning First Alliance (LFA), is a designated week to emphasize the strength — and potential — of our nation’s public schools and our students’ futures.
Public Schools Week is February 24-28, 2025.
Public Schools Week honors the invaluable contributions and achievements of educators and education advocates in our public schools and the communities they serve. Led by the LFA, a coalition of 12 national education groups with a collective membership exceeding 10 million, Public Schools Week invites the education community, parents, lawmakers, and others to join us in spotlighting our nation’s public schools and the dedicated individuals behind them.
School boards are encouraged to commemorate Public Schools week for their communities and reach out to lawmakers, businesses, and others to discuss the importance of public education.
School districts can spread the word on social media about the outstanding work happening in public schools and by educators and education professionals. Explore the resources, include social media content and graphics, in the #PSW25 toolkit and customize them to amplify the positive stories from your district’s perspective.
